Yes, when you join a local chapter in Canada, you also become a member of ILEA Canada which represents chapters in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton and Toronto. You are also a member of ILEA's international organization.

ILEA Seattle is governed by a local Board of Directors that is nominated and elected by the chapter. At the international level, ILEA is run by a Board of Governors and a full-time management team. The chapter and international boards are volunteer positions

You can attend a chapter meeting at a non-member, at the non-member rate. We encourage you to try ILEA out. You will get the most out of ILEA if you join and become involved in the chapter.
