Lucas Margulis / President & Founder
Lucas has a natural affinity for the entertainment and events industry, in his teens he could often be found hosting and emceeing events across Ontario. These early experiences shaped him into an entrepreneur and led him to launch his brand PURE, an event based entertainment company. This was just the beginning as Lucas was always looking for ways to innovate and found his next creative endeavor, HIGH BAR, introducing Cannabis in a safe and elegant way to the mainstream events world. He says, “Cannabis was something that was always being consumed, but it was also always hidden and I wanted to change that and make it more mainstream and acceptable, much like having a cocktail.”
The idea of HIGH BAR came to fruition in 2015 and was a slow building process as Canada finally legalized Cannabis in 2017 when Lucas then joined by his partner Eric went on to host their first event in 2018. HIGH BAR is focused on elevating the event experience while busting through the stigma long associated with Cannabis by offering an array of experiences to transform any event.
